Final Post

I learned many things in Multimedia Design. In illustrator, I knew how to do several things. Although, there are some things I learned in this class that I did not know before. In Photoshop, I new how to edit some things. In this class, it taught me how to use Photoshop more than I originally did.

Audacity was a very knew thing to me. Multimedia design presented to me this new software and taught me how to use it. Dreamweaver was also another software that was new to me. This class showed me how to use it and I find it very helpful to know how to use it. Finally, the last thing I learned in this class was Adobe Flash. I never worked with that software before and I think it is really cool that I know how to use it. I will definitely use the things I learned in this class. All in all, I found this class very helpful and fun, and I enjoyed it very much.

Flash: Custom Motion Tween

First, I created a panda on Adobe Illustrator. After creating my panda, I imported in into my new Flash sheet. I created several layers and made movement and shapes in them. When I was finished, I looked over my project and saved it into my folder and into the class file.

Tutorial 2

First, I named the first layer Background. Then Imade the background a light blue sky color. Then, I made a black rectangle at the bottom along with smaller yellow rectangles inside. Next, I created a new layer and named it Car. Then I created the car by creating a rounded red rectangle, a smaller rectangle ontop, and two black tires on the bottom. Then I clicked frame 50 and pressed insert keyframe. Then I moved the car to the right side and pressed create motion tween. Finally, I looked my project over and saved it at Tutorial 2.

Flash: Shape Tween

First I created 3 layers and named them Text, Shape 1, and Shape 2. Then, I selected the Text layer and made the background of it a bright green color. Still in the Text layer, I used the text tool to write my name with a smiley face in a light blue color. Next, in the Shape 1 layer, I created random shape tweens and used random, colorful shapes. In the Shape 2 layer, I did the same, but made the shapes and colors of the shapes different along with the pattern of the shape tweens. Finally, I looked over my project and saved it in my folder and the Multimedia FLASH file.

Flash: Tutorial 1

First, I opened a new Flash File (Action Script 3.0) on Adobe Flash. Then I created two layers; one for text and one for shapes. Then, while on the text layer I made the background black and added in yellow Vladimir Script text saying Multimedia Design. Next, I drew a yellow rectangle in the top left corner. I then clicked on frame 25 in both the shape and text layer and chose Insert Keyframe. In frame 25 under the shape layer, I deleted the rectangle and drew in a blue polystar in the top right corner. Next, I selected frame one under the shape layer and inserted the Create Shape Tween. Finally, I looked my project over and saved it in my Flash file as Tutorial 1.

Audacity_Mixing Songs.

My theme was hope. The three songs I used was "Breathless" by Taylor Swift, "Let it be", a Beatles cover, by Jennifer Hudson, "Lean on me" covered by Sheryl Crow, Keith Urban, and Kid Rock. I found these on google on a Hope for Haiti website and I felt they were the perfect songs for my project. I chose these songs because they were very inspirational and were clearly about hope and believing. When combining the songs, I took bits and pieces from each to make it sound like they were singing together in one song. I used fade in and fade out to make it sound as if they were passing each solo to the next person.

Buttons

First, I made a small rounded rectangle with the shapes tool. Then, I filled it in with a pale light green color. After, I used text to type the name of the section in. I saved then changed to the color to a bright light blue. I saved once again to a folder called 'Buttons'.
